Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

I love oatmeal!! I love how easy it is to make. I love how it makes you feel. I love that it is affordable. I love how versatile it is.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 Apple Chopped
  • 2 Cups Water
  • Cinnamon to taste – start with 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • Drizzle with sweetener of choice – Honey, Maple Syrup, Date Syrup

Instructions

  • Chop your apple into small bite size pieces
  • Add Apples and 2 cups of water into saucepan
  • Add Cinnamon
  • Bring to Boil
  • Add Oats
  • Cook for at least 2 minutes – make sure to stir so that it doesn’t stick on the bottom
  • Cook a little longer if you prefer thicker oats
  • After reaching the consistency you like – remove from heat
  • Stir in Vanilla
  • Transfer to bowl
  • Drizzle with sweetener
  • Enjoy!
